Adobe CC License Renewal

The University has changed its Adobe Creative Cloud License purchasing procedure. All users will have to purchase their own license via CU Boulder's OnTheHub Store.

Cost

Adobe CC is available to purchase at the following schedule. All licenses expire June 30th of each year.

• July 1 – June 30: $95
• January 1 – June 30: $65

Named User licensing

• Subscriptions are issued to individual users. OIT can transfer Named User subscriptions that are department-owned to another user, if requested. Contact oitsoftware@colorado.edu for assistance.
• CC licenses allow the named user to activate Adobe software on up to two computers  (Mac, Windows, or a mix).

Shared Device licensing

• Subscriptions are for labs or multi-user workstations, for university-owned computers only.
• No concurrent licensing with Creative Cloud.
• Please note that Adobe licensing terms prohibit Creative Cloud software to be run in a virtual or remote manner; if you intend to use SDL in this way, please see the Creative Cloud FAQ for alternate solutions.
